Stack Emission Monitoring & Testing
On-site stack emission measurements with portable FTIR and flue gas analyzers – for compliance checks, performance tests, CEMS verification and pollution source investigation.
Overview
Not every measurement needs a permanent system. GPIPL engineers carry out on-site stack emission monitoring with portable analyzers, giving you accurate, real-time results for boilers, furnaces, kilns, DG sets, incinerators and other stationary sources.
Portable FTIR and UV-DOAS analyzers
Portable FTIR analyzers measure many gases simultaneously from a single sample – SO₂, NOx, CO, CO₂, CH₄, NH₃, HCl, HF, VOCs and moisture – in hot-wet or cold-dry configuration. Portable UV-DOAS flue gas analyzers measure SO₂, NO, NO₂, O₂, CO and CO₂ along with flue gas temperature, pressure and velocity.
When to use it
Use stack testing for compliance testing, performance and efficiency checks, verification of installed CEMS, fugitive emission inspection and investigation of pollution sources.

Frequently asked questions
Which gases can be measured on site?
With portable FTIR: SO₂, NOx, CO, CO₂, CH₄, NH₃, HCl, HF, VOCs and moisture. With portable flue gas analyzers: SO₂, NO, NO₂, O₂, CO and CO₂.
Which sources can be tested?
Boilers, furnaces, kilns, DG sets, incinerators and other industrial stacks.
Can you check our existing CEMS?
Yes. Portable measurements are a practical way to compare and verify readings from an installed CEMS.
