Ambient Air Quality Monitoring
Continuous ambient air quality monitoring stations and analyzers for SO₂, NOx, O₃, NH₃, particulates and VOCs – from single analyzers to complete CAAQMS and micro-monitoring networks.
Overview
Ambient air quality monitoring measures the air people breathe – around industrial plants, across industrial estates and in cities. Continuous Ambient Air Quality Monitoring Stations (CAAQMS) combine gas analyzers, particulate monitors, meteorological sensors and a data system in one climate-controlled shelter.
Analyzers for every criteria pollutant
GPIPL supplies SO₂ analyzers (UV fluorescence), NOx analyzers (chemiluminescence), O₃ and NH₃ analyzers, VOC analyzers and particulate monitoring, together with zero air generators and dynamic calibrators to keep the station calibrated.
Dense networks with micro stations
For fence-line and area networks, the compact MEAMS micro environmental air monitoring system measures PM10, PM2.5, SO₂, NO₂, O₃, CO, VOCs, temperature and humidity at many points, supporting source tracking and early warning.

Frequently asked questions
What does a CAAQMS station measure?
Typically criteria pollutants such as SO₂, NOx, O₃, CO, NH₃ and particulates (PM10, PM2.5), plus meteorological parameters, with continuous data logging and transmission.
How are ambient analyzers kept accurate?
With regular zero and span checks using zero air generators and dynamic calibrators, and periodic calibration by GPIPL engineers.
Can we monitor several locations around our plant?
Yes. Compact micro monitoring stations can be installed at multiple points to build a monitoring network around a site or estate.
