Mercury & Heavy Metal Monitoring

Continuous monitoring of mercury and heavy metals in flue gas – dilution-type mercury CEMS using cold atomic fluorescence, and online heavy metal monitoring systems.

Overview

Mercury and other heavy metals are emitted in very small quantities but have a large environmental impact, so they need sensitive, specialised monitoring.

Mercury CEMS

Dilution-type mercury CEMS based on cold atomic fluorescence spectrometry measure elemental, ionic and total mercury in real time with low detection limits. The system includes the sampling probe, heated line, pre-treatment unit, mercury analyzer and gas generators.

Heavy metal monitoring

Online heavy metal monitoring systems provide real-time data on heavy metal emissions in industrial flue gas, with GPIPL support for installation, commissioning, calibration and data connectivity.

What is included

  • Dilution-type mercury CEMS
  • Elemental, ionic and total mercury measurement
  • Online flue gas heavy metal monitoring
  • Heated sampling and pre-treatment
  • Installation, calibration and maintenance
